Rollback your version
If you updated from an earlier version and encounter issues with the latest release, or if you simply prefer to continue using the previous one, the installer allows you to roll back to the version you had installed before.
Rolling back will restore the application to the last version you were using. Your configuration settings will remain unchanged — unless the previous version does not support them.
After your first installation, the rollback option will not appear since no earlier versions exist.
You will see a card on your Codex Catalog page with your version and, below, a blue button to ROLL BACK.
Select the version to rollback
On the card you see on screen with your update, you will see a rollback blue button. Click on it.
A confirmation prompt may appear. Confirm to start the rollback.
Status indicators (per step)
- Not started – the step hasn’t begun.
- In progress – the step is running.
- Failed – an error occurred; the step didn’t complete.
- Completed – the step finished successfully.
Rollback the Codex Catalog
While the rollback runs, the button shows Rolling back.
When all steps complete, the status changes to Completed, and your application returns to the previous version. You can continue using the application once the rollback completes.
